Is there anything that I should do before my appointment?
Please carefully remove all makeup; especially your eye makeup, from the top and bottom of your eyes. If you wear contacts, no need to worry. Since the eyelash extensions are applied to your natural lash & do not touch the skin, they do not interfere with your contacts or your normal daily activities. If this is your first time visiting the salon, please arrive 15 minutes early to enjoy a complimentary beverage and complete your Consultation & Design forms.
What are Eyelash Extensions?
Eyelash extensions are faux mink strands that are made to replicate a natural eyelash. When applied the eyelash extensions lengthen & thicken your natural lash, creating a fuller and darker “Lavish Blink.” The semi-permanent extensions are applied one by one using surgical grade adhesive that has been clinically tested & approved. With proper application, lash extensions look and feel completely natural.
How are Eyelash Extensions applied?
This service is often compared to receiving a spa service. You will lie back on the service table with your eyes closed the entire time while the stylist applies your eyelash extensions individually to your natural eyelashes. The extensions do not touch the skin; they are attached 1mm from the root. This process generally takes 2 hours. Most clients find this service so relaxing and comfortable that they fall asleep.
How long to the Eye Lash Extensions Last?
Eyelash Extensions last the length of your natural growth cycle. This time frame is usually between 4-8 weeks. As your natural lashes grow and shed, the eyelash extensions will grow and shed with them. Depending on your growth cycle & your daily activity, you will need a re-lash appointment every 2-3 weeks to keep your lashes looking full and lavish.
Can I use Mascara on my Extensions?
You can apply mascara sparingly to the middle and tips of the lash extensions; you just want to make sure that the mascara you use is lash extension compatible. You never want to use mascara that is oil-based, as these types of mascaras will weaken the bonding agent and shorten the life of your eyelash extensions, causing premature eyelash extension loss. Ask your stylist about mascara that is lash extension compatible if you’re interested.
Return Policy
No refunds, exchanges only- That is, if an item is damaged we will replace it. Please email support@lavishblink.com with your concerns to start your exchange process and we will respond within 24 hours of receipt of your email.
Note all products & hair should be returned within 7 days of you receiving the order. The product or hair should be unopened and not damaged or defective in any way when returned in order to be eligible for exchange. Be advised, you will be responsible for return shipping rates. Hair Care Tips
With Proper installation, maintenance and care your Lavish Blink Hair Collection hair extensions should last over a year. Follow these simple basics to extend the life of your hair.
Installation:
Do NOT cut the tops of the double wefts. The double wefts are delicate and if they are cut, we cannot guarantee that the hair will not shed.
Please take caution when sewing through the weft. Placing a needle through the top of the weft may result in damage and we cannot guarantee that the hair will not shed it this is done.
Routine Maintenance:
Shampoo hair once a week- this keeps the hair full of body
Use a quality name brand shampoo and conditioner with Ph 7 balance
Do not massage shampoo into the hair. Use your fingers between the wefts in a horizontal motion to clean your scalp.
Rinse thoroughly
Apple name-brand conditioner(Aussie & Joico recommended) and comb into the hair, starting from the bottom working your way up.
After letting the conditioner sit for 5 minutes, rinse out most of the product, but leave just a little in.(It keeps your extensions moisturized) If you absolutely don’t like product in your hair, you may rinse it all out.
To prevent damage from blow drying, let the hair air dry.
Do not towel dry or twist your extensions.
If you have curly extensions, scrunch the ends to reform your lavish ringlets
Do not sleep in wet hair
Do not comb or brush dry curls or waves, you will disrupt the curl pattern and the ends may tangle.
Do not use oily or greasy products
To prolong the life of your extensions, wear a satin/silk cap or bonnet to bed.
Tips:
The beautiful thing about Lavish Blink Hair Collection hair extensions is that you can style it any way you want. You can color or perm the hair, however we suggest that you use a professional stylist/colorist for the best results.
You can brush, blow dry, curl with a curling iron and straighten your extensions with a flat iron and style anyway you want. However, to maintain the texture & to prevent breakage and damage, DO NOT use excessive heat on your extensions.
Are the Eyelash Extensions Waterproof?
Yes, the Eyelash Extensions are absolutely waterproof! The bonding agent used when applying the eyelash extensions is waterproof which allows you to exercise, shower and swim while maintaining lash extensions that will remain lavish & glamourous! However, it is recommended that you do not get the lashes wet for the 1st 24 hours to allow the bonding agent to dry completely.
How do I take care of my Eyelash Extensions?
Use Xtreme Lashes cosmetics & aftercare products to maximize the life of the extensions
Cleanse your lashes & eyelids daily. (Use lent-free for cleansing, do NOT use cotton balls)
Do not get your Extensions wet for 3-4 hrs. at a minimum after application (preferably 24 hours)
Avoid steam or sauna for 24-48 hours after application
Avoid rubbing, picking or pulling on your eyelash extensions
Do not use oil-based make-up removers or makeup on or near the extended eyelashes
Do not perm or tint the eyelash extensions
Do not use an eyelash curler, as you will not need one.
Do not attempt to remove any lash extensions on your own, this will damage your natural lashes if not removed professionally. This process only takes 30-40 minutes.

Will the Eyelash Extensions damage my natural lashes?
No, as long as the extensions are applied by a highly trained and certified Lash Stylist your natural lashes will be well cared for. In fact, a lot of our clients have witnessed their natural eyelashes become healthier as a result of wearing eyelash extensions. This is mostly because extensions minimize the wear and tear on your natural lashes often caused by mascara and lash curlers.
Cancellation Policy
As a courtesy, appointment reminders are sent out 72-24 hours in advance, either by text, email or both. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment, you will be charged 50% of your service as a cancellation fee. (note: this is equal to your deposit that was paid when booking(see below).) If you reschedule or no show your appointment within 4 hours of your scheduled appointment time, you will be charged 100% of your service as a cancellation fee. A credit card deposit for all client appointments will be required at the time of booking. This is to protect your time that is set aside especially for you, as well as to protect our time which books up quickly. In turn, we promise to give you your full and undivided attention and of course, the best lash work the DFW Metroplex has to offer!

Shipping Policy
All packages are delivered by USPS. The address has to be able to be confirmed via PayPal. If the shipping address is not the same as the billing address connected with your ATM/Debit/Checking Account it will not be confirmed and we will not be able to ship your order. Standard shipping inside the US may take 3-7 business days. We Ship orders daily Mon-Fri. For standard shipping outside the US please allow 6 to 10 business days. All orders over $300 in the US will have no shipping fees. Orders under $300 will have flat rate shipping fee of $20. For shipping orders outside the US, international rates may vary and will be provided at checkout with confirmation of the shipping address. Standard tax rates will apply to all shipping orders.
